Online payment is the norm now: customers would rather pay with BLIK on their phone than look for cash for the courier. What does it cost a restaurant, and how does it work with your own ordering site?

How it works with your own site
- The customer picks BLIK, card or Przelewy24 and pays on your site.
- The order reaches the kitchen marked “paid online”.
- The money goes to the restaurant’s account (minus the provider fee) on the payout schedule.

Should you keep cash?
Yes — some customers (especially older ones) prefer to pay on delivery or pickup. But it is worth encouraging online payment: prepaid orders mean fewer no-shows and less cash with couriers. In the pizzeria chain from the case study 85% of orders are paid online.
Refunds
A card or BLIK refund can be issued from the admin panel. Note: on a refund Stripe does not return the fee charged on the original payment.
